January 2010 Layer It Up Challenge

Well it's a new year. Here's to hoping that you all have a fabulous 2010!!

And to kick the year off with a bang, here's a Layer It Up Challenge with a twist!!

This month, you must:-

(a) include at least 5 unique elements on your layout. To be considered unique, an element must be different than any other element on your page. Eg) if you use 2 different flowers, then only 1 of the flowers will count toward your unique elements.

(b) double up on all elements placed on your layout. This means that you must duplicate every element you use. You are allowed to triple or even quadruple each element if you wish.

(c) include at least 1 paragraph of journaling

(d) include a title. You can use font or alpha for this, as long as the title is quite prominent on the page. Now for the twist!! Your title must be the title of a movie or book....no exceptions!!

All layouts must be uploaded to the LAYER IT UP GALLERY by 25th January and linked back to this thread

All layouts submitted by the due date will receive this fabulous Participation Prize!!



This gorgeous mini co-ordinates with all of the other "Envious" participation prizes for the month of January. So the more challenges that you participate in, the bigger the kit you will end up with!!



After the 25th of January, I will post a poll with all of the eligible layouts submitted for this month. All DRS members will be able to vote for their favorite. The winner will be published in the February DRS Newsletter and will receive a $5.50 coupon to my store!!

I finally got a challenge done....other than the one's I run....YAY!!!!!
5 elements: Hanger, label, city buildings, numbers, paint splotch - all used twice except the paint splotches which were used more than twice.
A paragraph of journalling. The title is a book by Katie Davis.
