Default Hellooooooooo

Hi Y'all,

I am a Sydney girl who has spent many years living in Perth and the majority of the last 10 years living in....

Saudi Arabia ....

where we have been having 50+ temperatures this week.

I am a long time scrapper and paper crafter, am thoroughly enjoying the hybrid craze and am the Hybrid Editor for the DigishopTalk Insider magazine.
Online scrapping and friendships are what helps keep me sane living in this some what harsh and unusual, plus isolated environment.

You can blame Sharon (skyezak) for dragging me over here.

Can't wait to meet you all!

Sharyn

Thanks Sharon and a huge HELLO Sharyn. Welcome to our world. Thanks for coming over and I really hope you stick around.
I could certainly understand you wanting to try to maintain your sanity in 50 deg. temps. That's v hot.
Hope we get to learn more about you as we go along our way and see lots of your contributions in the Gallery.

Hibernate inside with the AC set on very cool.

We did go out yesterday for a walk and it was about 42 at that time.

Most days it hover around 45-48 at home but this week it hit 50. About 15 mins away where dh works it has been 52+ the last couple of days. Yes - he works outside in it much of the time.

It is not like this all year though. We have a winter and it gets down below 10 then with average days of about 14-17. We love it then!!

Whoo hoo Sharyn! I'm so glad you popped on over here! And I cannot believe that you live through those temps either...50 degrees is unheard of and I don't know how anything can survive at that temperature - yikes!

Don't know if you saw Marianne (aka Maz) who recently joined us at TDC - well she lives over your way too but is originally from South Africa. She's been over there for a few years I think and has recently moved to Dubai but isn't back online yet....not sure how far from her you'd be. She's a staff member here and you'll see her on TDC CT too.

And I meant to tell you we need some more hybrid goodies coming through our Gallery. Pene Toose (aka rtoose) is one of my real life buddies and she's our hybrid co-ordinator, so her and I are posting most of the goodies here. We haven't yet managed to snag too many others who are not willing to go out of their comfort zone yet LOL! Coming from a paper scrapping background, hybrid is an easy progression.

And guys, wait till you see the amazing hybrid goodies that Sharyn whips up. And congrats to her on being recently appointed the new Hybrid Editor for the DST Insider too
